Midfielder who began his career at Southport, where he was a highly considered member of the PASE scheme. Left Haig Avenue to join Marine, where he became an integral and highly popular member of the side. Joined Burscough in June 2009. Darren was voted the supporters player of the year at the end of the 2009/10 season and prior to the 2010/11 season became first team player coach.
